Summer is a crucial time for hockey players to develop their strength, speed, and skill. We always think there is more time to prepare than there actually is so sign up before it’s too late! This program is intended for AA/AAA players looking to take their game to the next level for the up-coming season.
These groups will be limited to 6 players a group at Elite Edge and 18 players when full ice at the campus and runs for 9 weeks. For these groups you will have a set schedule for on ice and off ice workouts, helping each athlete build a routine and regiment that allows growth both on and off the ice.
Pro Package: (u18 and up)
This is for junior, college and pro level players (includes 2 skates and 5 workouts per week). Weekly full-ice games included.
College Package: (u16)
Includes 2 skates and 4 workouts per week. Bi-weekly full-ice game included.
JR Package (u14)
includes 2 skates and 3 workouts per week. Bi-weekly full-ice game included.
Prep Package (U12)
includes 2 skates and 2 workouts per week. Bi-weekly full-ice game included.
Young Guns (u10)
This is for players that are looking for that consistent ice touch weekly during the summer to stay sharp for the up-coming season. (includes 1 skate and 1 workout per week)
On-ice Overview:
Our Practices during the summer are about overall skill development from Power skating and edge work, to puck skills, and battling. As a staff we create a progressional program so that when players head into the fall for their seasons they are hitting the ground running! Our on-ice sessions are fast paced, competitive, and full of energy.
Gym Overview:
During the summer there is a window of opportunity to make gains for the upcoming season that will help players separate themselves from the rest. Our Goal at Elite Edge is to develop a strong foundation for all players so that they can perform at their best come opening day of the season. Want to get faster? Want a stronger shot? Want to be able to win more battles in the corner? All of that starts in the gym with our experienced certified trainers. Our training staff creates progressional gym programs for all age groups that are age appropriate in helping players reach their goals.
Bi- Weekly Games:
The bi-weekly games are intended to show case the skill development that the players and coaches have been working on during the week and to have the ability to translate them into game situations. These inter-squad games are going to allow our coaching staff to see what players needs are in live game situations while also having the ability to coach in-game situations during live time.
